Appearance: Long black hair that is always tied back, usually in a simple ponytail. Italus has dark brown skin and brown eyes. He is slightly taller than average, giving him a lean look even though he has a decent musculature. He wears the uniform of the Order, a long black trenchcoat, shirt, pants, boots and gloves along with the silver sharp-pointed shield over an eagle badge on his shoulder.

History: Italus grew up in The Citadel on the Mountain, one of the Order of the Raven's primary strongholds. He was born to a Dragoon and a flight technician, who are both still alive and working at the Citadel. He made the natural leap and followed the family profession, growing up in training to become a field Agent, charged with protecting the public against supernatural threats and enforcing secret supernatural law.

Personality: Italus is generally a very calm individual, with a logical, analytical mind but a healthy streak of empathy. Although young, he has developed a bit of police cynicism necessary for remaining sane in his job. Very willing to form friendships with anyone he meets.

Weaknesses: As 'only' a regular human, albeit with special training, doctrine, support and equipment, he is vulnerable to all the unpleasant and unique ways regular humans can meet their fate. He has no particular phobias or special weaknesses, though.

Weapon:

Bowie Knife - Intricately carved with runic designs which have no function but to look pretty. It is sharpened, stainless steel though, despite its lack of enchantment.

Equalizer - Modified firearm similar in design to M9 semi-automatic pistol. As a standard, it takes 9x19mm NATO rounds modified for incendiary explosions or holy water as the situation requires. The entire thing is constructed from black titanium, with an eagle carved into the side of the barrel. Appearance: Short-cropped blond hair cut to almost military standard. He has dashes of latino heritage that show in his skin. His eyes are dark brown. He is tall and muscular, with a rugged, defined physique. Generally wears his Order uniform, with the black coat, shirt, pants, boots, gloves, etc. When not in uniform will still wear tight, dark clothing in a small desire to show off.

History: Fidel went through a divorce at the age of eight, and ran away from home, eventually ending up in an Order safehouse. He decided to commit his life to protecting the world, training hard and long to become a skillful field Agent. He is just entering the prime of his career, with several years of experience already under his belt.

Personality: Confident almost to the point of arrogance, smooth and cool all the time. Straightforward sort of guy who takes what he wants, and has the initiative and intelligence to think of new solutions to problems.

Weaknesses: As 'only' a regular human, albeit with special training, doctrine, support and equipment, he is vulnerable to all the unpleasant and unique ways regular humans can meet their fate. He has a tendency to be a bit overconfident, though.

Dagger - An old blade that Fidel has used for several years, sort of a semantic heirloom. He still keeps it razor-sharp and ready for action, in case of emergency.

Character Name: Kyle

Age: 48

Race: Human

Gender: Male

Appearance: Longish chestnut-brown hair, very pale white skin. Stark white eyes with no color, iris, or pupils. Slightly shorter than average, and generally thin but with the slightest hints of a paunch in his belly.

History: His parents were murdered by a group of wizards who organized crime throughout his home city. In anger, he attacked their killer, who managed to permanently blind him before dying of his wounds. He grew up homeless and poor, on the streets of the city, developing stealth and combat skills in order to survive. One day, he swiped an ancient artifact from a magical store. The Hukin Medallion, as it was called, imbued him with power that allowed him to detect magic and energy, giving him a whole new level of sight. It also allowed him a number of elemental spells as well as the ability to bend space and time itself in order to teleport. He was recruited into the Order shortly after, and served for many years as an Agent, climbing the ranks and eventually being crowned Ordermaster at 32. His career was relatively short, and in the course of personal problems he resigned two years ago. He remains around the Order and is a de-facto leader, retaining great influence among everyone.

Personality: It would be unfair to suggest that Kyle's sanity has been affected by his warping of reality, but he certainly has some interesting quirks. He is very happy-go-lucky and relaxed, spitting in the face of regulation and order. He is capable of getting more serious, but rarely bothers to. Slightly lazy.

Weaknesses: No organic sight. If the Hukin Medallion is ever taken from him he will lose all of his power, becoming as vulnerable as any human.

Weapon:

Scarlet Blades - Enchanted pair of shortswords that Kyle has had for decades. They glow red in direct proportion to his anger, and have a boomerang-like ability to return flawlessly to his hand if they're ever thrown.

Appearance: Very long dark-blue hair that isn't tied back, but just allowed to flow around. He has ocean blue eyes and wears gold-rimmed glasses. His face is defined in an almost roman way, with a straight nose. Elco's skin is a very pale white tinged with brownish hue. He is thin and lanky, and prefers to wear black robes or a dark-colored coat.

History: Elco was the son of a professor at Transentia University, and grew up in the mountainous city around highly advanced technology and science. He displayed a prodigal intelligence, and became a brilliant, if sometimes hasty, inventor. He met Kyle and they formed a friendship, which persists until this day, and was convinced to join up with the Order. He is currently the Ordermaster, the supreme commander-in-chief of all Order affairs.

Personality: Elco wavers between calm, steady scientist and mad, raving genius, depending on his mood, the time of day, the season, etc. He is adventurous, more so than most researchers, and enjoys plenty of field-testing with his latest rounds of inventions.

Ion Rifle - Unique energy weapon that fires a stream of charged particles at the speed of light, capable of penetrating over 15 meters of any known material. Fires one shot and then requires a 10-15 second recharge time. Self-renewing power source that only needs to be replaced once a year. Unpainted stainless steel ideal for smashing something that gets too close with the butt, as well.

Appearance: Longish orange-red hair. Possesses a healthily tanned peach skin tone. Has large brown eyes. Her face is gentle, and her body is curvaceous, but she has a core of toughness and sinewy muscle beneath the soft fleshy padding. Generally forsakes her Agent coat and goes only with a tight tunic or cloak. When out of uniform she enjoys comfortable, loose clothing.

History: Eve was in an orphanage until a couple working at the local Order base adopted her, and she sees her service only as fair payback for the rescue. Her training indicated a high aptitude for diplomacy as well as unarmed combat, although she isn't exactly a crack marksman when it comes to gunfights.

Personality: An indomitable will tempered with healthy compassion and an awareness of her own faults. When on a mission she won't let anything stop her, and has been known to get a bit out of hand, however. With friends she's playful and energetic.

Weaknesses: As 'only' a regular human, albeit with special training, doctrine, support and equipment, she is vulnerable to all the unpleasant and unique ways regular humans can meet their fate. She can be baited with some amount of ease into traps or disadvantageous situations, as well.

Weapon:
Glove - People are skeptical when Eve tells them that her gloves are her most lethal weapons, but seeing her in action would convince anyone. Her unarmed combat styles focus on disabling an opponent with rapid strikes, at the expense of the power of slower forms.

Character Name: Huo-luo Mindirraya

Gender: Female

Appearance: Medium-length jet-black hair. Her skin is a very pale yellowish color, reflecting her dual heritage from a Chinese father and an Elf mother. Her eyes are deep pools of hazy blue, almost grey. She is small and stout, with thick hips and a decent chest. On duty, she is clad in the specialized enchanted body armor of the Spelltroopers. Off duty, she enjoys long, silky robes and gowns.

History: Huo-luo was the product of a happy marriage between an Elf and a Human, and grew up in a sheltered quarter of the city that housed a large number of such couples. Thus, she was shielded from a lot of the anxiety and awkwardness of being of both worlds, man and elf. She hadn't heard about the Order until she began to manifest magical powers at age ten. She was approached by several wizard guilds, magical academies... and the Spelltrooper division of the local Order chapter. From then on, she trained for years and years to become an elite Spelltrooper, who uses both magic and state of the art weapons and armor to neutralize the worst of the Order's foes. She graduated as a Private First Class with honors five months ago.

Personality: Preternaturally calm, never panicking no matter how dire a situation looks or how surprised she is. Tries to never show emotion, although some things can 'crack the ice' with her. Slow to show affection, even to friends.

Weaknesses: She is physically about as weak as a normal human, and if her armor's power support is disabled, it will become hundreds of pounds of dead weight.

Spelltrooper Broadsword - A thick and heavy enchanted blade that can leave fire in its wake, summon water, or cut the wind so fast as to create a small twister. Holstered on the back of the armor.

HLPC - Heavy Laser Penetration Cannon. Has three rotating barrels that fire x-ray lasers capable of penetrating and instantly obliterating all but the hardiest of targets. The size and weight of a chaingun, with handles and triggers on the top for hefting and a portable hover-stand to mount and steady it. The main battery can sustain five minutes of continuous fire before running out of juice, but the batteries are light enough for a soldier to carry dozens.
